everyone is complaining about this past year - i was about to, but then i realized that 2011 was not so bad for me. so i am going to avoid my emotional collapse and sad finances, and focus on what made me smile.
i did a lot of solo traveling and set up shoots in different cities, pulled off a thesis project where i impressed myself on how easily i can talk my way into something, i had my first solo gallery show, traveled across the country with my family, i graduated and i started a jewelry line.
not to mention, i made some of the best friends that i will ever come across, got rid of the family and friends who were holding me down and let go of the love that was crushing me for nearly a decade.
if you didnt have the best of your years in this past one, concentrate on the good and learn from the bad. here’s to 2012 and the opportunities it holds. we are looking at the biggest one yet. <3
